Woah, woah, woah.  No need to be so specific, there.  Brighthouse in my 
market area (in central Florida) is encrypting everything come Jan 1, 
2014.  AIUI, now that they can (aren't prevented from doing so by the 
FCC), every single cable company is going to do so.  So, let's just 
change that "Comcast" to "cable companies".  :)

At least Brighthouse is giving 2 digital adapters for free (for one 
year--then $2/adapter/mo).
