There's a thread about current difficulties with mythtranscode, but I
think the problem there is subtle inconsistencies in the output file
rather than total failure to run. Can you run a similar mythtranscode
command with other recordings?
I think that that command is not supposed to change the format of the
recording; just clean up some types of error and make cuts if given the
right command. But it might remove some streams. Can you run the
mythffmpeg command with the original recording as input? Or with
shorter ones, of course?
