Hmm.  It failed in mythtranscode, result 146.  I don't know what that 
is.  I see your input is 1920*1080, and I've never tried mythtranscode 
--mpeg2 on one like that.

There have been UTC-related difficulties there but that may only affect 
later builds than yours.

I'm surprised that it then went on to completion.  Since the cutting is 
supposed to happen in mythtranscode it's not surprising that it wasn't 
done; but you do have to enable it with the menu key during the 
selection phase.

I suggest that you experiment with a short but similar recording without 
trying to burn a DVD and see if you can play the result.  See the 
mytharchive utilities screen, or create an .iso and try playing it with 
something else.
