Hi Daniel,

Ok, so it's the same problem.  I'll try to look into it in more detail. 
  The clean fix means making changes to lots of files (inverting the 
meaning of a flag, so changing any existing locations where that flag is 
used).  That means being extra careful not to break anything.

As a workaround, I currently put the frontend to sleep by pressing 'm' 
in the main menu and selecting 'Enter standby mode'.

I guess most people don't use mythwelcome, so haven't been affected by 
this bug.  I only use(d) it as a way of explicitly telling the box that 
it could shut down, which is what 'standby mode' does too.
