cant be recorded via the dvr eg ppv etc) -but other customers say this
isn't possible?

Hi,

1) Top-posting is frowned upon here; it makes the email threads really
hard to follow.

2) Read the full thread - It was discussed earlier. HBO etc are
supported if you're running Windows because it is approved for the
copy-once DRM.

Out of respect seeing you replied I'll bottom post.....but bottom
posting is stupid as most of the time you are reading one email after
another.....scrolling down some of the time makes more sense but hey
that's just personal opinion..

Having said that my question is this, are you saying that Windows and
ONLY windows will allow a ceton device to record sho/hbo etc.

And unless I'm prepared to run window on my media server then these
cards are pretty much useless and can only record FTA content.

What does that mean for devices iin other rooms, unless theya re all
windows as well then you cant "watch"/view the content that's been
recorded on my media server via cablecard?

Thanks in advance for your answers from someone who has the actual
advice as this is NOT what ceton said on their facebook page.

Cheers,

Dean
