depending how the mythFE is setup; firewall? you'd need to add an
exception for the LAN subnet on that TCP port (6543 i think?)
with the 'unknown host' it sounds like mythmote hasnt been configured
(or incorrectly configured); it won't auto-detect, you must tell it
what your FE's are.
