You could, but you wouldn't want to. Old 802.11b outright doesn't have 
the throughput to handle it. 802.11a/g have the peak throughput 
necessary, but they could never handle more than one stream, and even 
then they aren't stable enough to be running that close to the limit 
when pushing UDP traffic. 802.11n should work in theory, but you still 
don't want to deal with signal interference and network dropouts 
damaging the master copy of your recording if you don't have to.
