You could use Dropbox and symlink a directory into you image/video path for
myth into the Dropbox folder, installed on Linux.

Then, install Dropbox on your phone also, which then appears in the list of
share options you mention, choose the folder you want it to go to and it
will be there on myth as soon as it syncs, which is instant in my
experience.
