That makes sense.  The ffmpeg change was actually beneficial for me -
I was having all kinds of problems with artifacts when playing back on
an ION front-end for some channels and 0.26 just made them go away.

Part of me is tempted to just try building against the system
ffmpeg/libav - I'm not sure if the the ABI in the bundled version has
any changes in it, but I'm sure my system version is going to be
newer.
