[mythtv-users] Can I specify default recording options per channel?

I want to process recordings differently based on channel (I want to 
encode movies from TCM, but not MSNBC News Shows). I could do this by 
passing the channelID to jobs/scripts, or I could do it by explicitly 
specifying options when I choose to record each movie. But I would 
rather be able to say that anything recorded from TCM has certain options.

I have read a bit about Recording Groups, Storage Groups, etc. but I 
have not yet seen this feature addressed. (Also, how do you create 
Recording Groups?)
