Thanks for the suggestion, but this is what I'm already using in some of
my email folders. Unfortunately it doesn't show me the complete thread,
only the unread and starred messages. I wish I could view the complete
thread when there is an unread or starred message in it,  including the
read messages.

There is a "Watched Thread with Unread" view, but watching only works
for newsgroups for some reason only the mozilla devs know...

Maybe I should ask in the thunderbird newsgroup...
