[mythtv-users] Editing Channels Table

Is it safe to edit the channels DB table using MS Access as per
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Microsoft_Access?

 

In particular I want to delete a load of channels that don't get any EPG
Data.

 

Can I just go ahead and delete the rows, or are there any other linked
tables that also need editing? The channels I want to delete have never
been watched or used for recording.

 

I have already used Access successfully to edit the channum and name
fields.

 

I know I could use the BE Channel Editor, but I just find it easier to
use Access. J
