I have things like this in my LIRC config:

    config = Alt+R

So maybe you can try with config = Ctrl+S. Or change the keybinding in Myth to
something LIRC can handle easily.

To enter the search text with your remote, I'd assume you'll have to use the
arrow keys with the onscreen keyboard, not the numerical keys as if you're
texting on an old cellphone.
