[mythtv-users] blank screen after mythbuntu upgrade to 13.10 and myth upgrade to 27.0

This is the mystery. Everything worked just fine on mythbuntu 12.04 with

I tried to use Mythbuntu on 13.04 Ubuntu and ran into problems. The bottom
line is that Mythbuntu is not able to work past Ubuntu 12.10 and they
advise that you stick with 12.04 until 14.04 is released.
You can do as I have....which is to only install mythtv in Ubuntu 13.04 and
up.
