Yeah I turned ten shades of thrilled when I found out about this. :)
The other nice thing about the Cubox is the eSATA port (on some
models), so you should be able to use one for a low-power backend too.
But a low-power low-cost frontend is definitely the crown jewel.

There seems to be 6 different models of CuBox though -- CuBox ($120),
CuBox Pro ($160), CuBox i1 ($50), CuBox i2 ($75), CuBox i2Ultra
($110), and CuBox i4Pro ($125). I guess I will have to wait for
Jean-Yves' input on which model(s) are targeted for development before
I buy three of them. Or four.
