I'm in the process of updating now, and have created my own Gentoo
ebuilds to add that option.  However, just so nobody else in the
future reading this gets confused, that option is actually
--disable-mythlogserver as apposed to --disable-logserver.  Had be
going a little when my ebuild blew up the first time :D.

Thanks for the help on this one.  I submitted a bug to Gentoo
suggesting the possibilty of a USE flag to control this:
