can't you just adjust the sync instead?

outputing to multiple devices is usually done via a muxer. you can't
mux digital audio without first decoding it...

the other issue is that all devices have different latencies.. so
outputting to multiple device is extremely hard to handle properly...
which is the primary reason I've never implemented it
