[mythtv-users] AudioOutputBase thread goes to 100% CPU after playing for a while

HI!

Using 0.26 fixes, I have noticed that mythfrontend uses 100% CPU of one
or two cores after playing for a while.

I am seeing this on 2 frontends, but have investigated one of them now.

Tested playing SD MPEG2 content with a modern VDPAU card (GT-630
Kepler), using the VDPAU high quality profile. CPU is 3.3 GHz Core i5.

Everything starts OK (although uses more CPU than expected with VDPAU,
maybe the gfx card does not decode MPEG2: 5-10%).

After 10-20 minutes, CPU usage begins to raise until it quickly reaches
100% for one core.

I can see with htop, that it is the AudioOutputBase thread of
mythfrontend alone. The 100% consists of 60% user and 40% sys.

Pausing does not fix it, only leaving playback completely.

I am using ALSA as audio driver.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Regards,
Thomas
