And that's where experience comes in.  It takes an experienced user to 
know specifically what they want their MythTV install to do, and what 
minimum hardware they need to achieve that.  When trying to use low 
performance systems, it's something that needs to be determined 
independently, for each specific installation.  An experienced user can 
and should make this determination on their own, which comes back to my 
point several posts ago that any user that does need to ask shouldn't be 
doing it.
