What do you mean, "same commands??????

Do you mean I substitute "mardiadb" for "mysql" or not? Either way, it 
didn't work for me. Perhaps because I had already installed and 
uninstalled mysql. It looks like I'll have to reinstall Fedora.

And I take that by "equivalent for sql" you mean that I don't install 
mysql, only maridb. Is that right?

Are there any plans to revise the Wiki 
<http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Installing_MythTV_on_Fedora> to install 
maridb instead of mysql?
