I only use official Ubuntu packages or something pre-packaged. I've had
enough building packages myself, that took hours of my life...

The setup is like so: PC -> amp -> projector

Issue occurs with either projector being turned off or amp being turned off.

So how would I disable DDC?

I already use CustomEDID, EDID is totally disabled in my case as I provide
exactly the mode line I want to use...
