I don't have the slightest idea. My "MCE" receiver has a light that blinks
when it detects a button press.  It would not blink or anything on any
other button being pressed.  Once I hit the power button on the actual
remote it blinked and the machine resumed.  My assumption was that it
didn't want to wake the machine on just any IR press or you tv remote or
any other one would be waking it up constantly.  Whether that is true or
not, I don't know.
