in truth it seems to run correctly, when i do it manually, outside of
the GUI. i mean, when i run it manually isn't that supposed to
workaround my issue with the retrieve lineups button?

what i've done is....
1. go to the gui, and hit retrieve lineups. the data direct field never
fills. 
2. exit the GUI, manually run the fill. 
3. go back into the GUI and data direct should be filled right?
