Aha!

In that case.. the simplest thing to do might be to install Cygwin/X on your local windows box and then login via SSH typing "export DISPLAY=hostwithX:0" and then running mythsetup (or whatever it's called).

I haven't tried, so I don't know what exactly Xvncserver needs to run independently of X on the server that doesn't have X installed.

Perhaps someone else can chime in with real-life experience with that scenario...
