Just my $.02 - but I would gladly pay the *standby power fees* to alleviate
the messages my TVs have after full power loss and the navigation required
to get rid of them.

Seriously - if you have MythTV, you already have the Rolls Royce of DVRs,
you cannot expect it to compete in the same PS arena as the 2 tuner crap
you can get with the US providers (they turn off their lights, but the
computer is still fully running).  None of them have wake on recording,
etc..
