The mythtv packaging repository ebuilds used to include a script which
would automatically get the latest git version of the selected branch of
mythtv and update the ebuilds so you wouldn't have to wait for the
maintainer to publish a new ebuild. However, several months ago github
changed their API and the script no longer worked so it was removed. Based
on the removal commit message (
https://github.com/MythTV/packaging/commit/a572f18f512661af0e9a531357caca3df46fec9d#Gentoo/scripts),
I was under the impression that wagnerrp had an updated version to replace
the script, but it's been MIA for a while.
