On a family get together my brother-in-law was showing me his antenna.
The low-band section was about half ( or even less ) that of anything I
had seen before.
He claims to get excellent reception on low-band channels that I would
expect to require
the big wide wind catcher models which only seem to make it through a
few storms.
I would love to go to OTA to get away from the crappy!!! sound that
results from the
over compression of my expensive cable system but the stopper has always
been
the problems that come from the wide low-band antenna where all of my
favorite
shows just happen to reside.
He did not know the brand of the antenna because it was professionally
installed.
Does anyone know what he is using?
Thanks,
Bert
