One thing to double check is to make sure you don't have the 'Force
Full GPU Scaling' box checked in nvidia-settings for your display
device, because it is by default.  It's not totally obvious that this
not only changes the resolution but also the refresh rate to the
"correct" one reported by the TV, which doesn't work so well when Myth
thinks it's switching refresh rates.
