[mythtv-users] Live TV issues with 0.25 and HD-PVR

So deleting and and re-adding all my capture cards (and truncating the capturecard table to reset the cardid auto incrementing key back to 1, hate odd numbering tuners) I see major improvements in Live TV with my HD-PVR. I won't call it solved just yet but all my tests so far have been successful. I was able to get into live TV without an issue and all my channel changes including SD, 720p, and 1080i channels changes (and back) worked without getting dropped once. Channel changes were also noticeably much faster. I'm assuming that's mostly due to the new 1.7.1.30059 firmware I loaded along with the 3.3.5 kernel with required driver improvements.
So next question is why? There are two things that I can see that changed: 1. The timeout value was previously set to 3000, re-adding it defaulted to 12000, 2. I changed from RCA sound to SPDIF (I'd switched long ago because of some channels occationally dropping sound long ago, seems ok now). I really don't see what else deleting could possibility fix, it's just a few DB records being deleted and re-added which should make zero difference. Is there something else I'm missing?
