Dean,

You may have missed the use case for the application...unless I'm
misunderstanding you :)

This app is used to follow one ore more people live tweeting a live
event...but you've recorded the event and are watching it time
shifted.  Some examples:

- sporting event
- Oscars
- State of the Union

I've had friends attend sporting events while tweeting.  This app
allows me to see their tweets in sync with the recording...along with
tweets from athletes.

The Oscars are really fun with this app.  In addition to the many
comedians that live tweet during the show, many actors now tweet from
the audience.
