[mythtv-users] FiOS with Cisco set-top box and Firewire

I'll confirm mine started doing this as well. It was on firewire for about
2 years of problem free recording. Then it started not recording program,
 or recording just 10 minutes and other oddities. I had the Motorola
QIP-6200.

So I switched to a HDHR Prime, and wow; love it!! Ordered the CC from
Verizon's web site, and followed the online instructions to get it self
activated. It took me less than 10 minutes and I had all of my subbed
channels in MythTV. Next is building ultra low power front-ends to replace
all of our cable boxes.
