I didn't suggest using mysql.txt, you were already using mysql.txt.  I 
was merely suggesting you use it intelligently.  Specifically just 
source it into your current namespace, since it was the same syntax 
Bourne uses to store variables.

As Michael mentioned, both the Perl and Python bindings will parse the 
config.xml internally for you.
