Most modern motherboards will have an led on the board that will light 
up when power is supplied, pull the cover and look.. Check and make sure 
that you or someone else in the home didn't shut off the switch on the 
Power supply.. The only real way to check it is with an multi-meter or a 
power supply tester...The next best way is to substitute a know good 
supply with the suspected bad one.... Other than pulling the cover and 
looking,I wouldn't suggest you do any of the other tests if you don't 
have the proper tools or skill...
