Have you set any priorities for inputs/channels/<something else I 
can't remember*> ?
I think the priority you'll see in the hover-reveal will be the sum 
of all the priorities which may be different to that for the 
recording rule.

* Can't recall where, but there'e a screen where you can define rules 
which alter priorities - eg "if the HD flag is set, add one to the 
priority".
