You could use lircmd to control your mouse cursor, but I think it would be
pretty hard to get it over the tiny X on the ads using a remote control
before they disappeared (at least they're short and relatively unobtrusive,
for now).  Unfortunately, Google wasn't nice enough to map the Z key to
'skip commercial'...
