I think it stopped a while ago. Twice I wrote a comment when I had a
problem and both comments never appeared there. He should have at least
put a note on his site saying that he stopped developing or that he
doesn't have time atm or ...

I stopped using it after having aspect ratio problems and at some point
the guys from the motumedia repository "forgot" to compile in mkv
support into mencoder.

Now I use a user script using ProjectX and HandBrakeCLI "stolen" from
other scripts from the wiki.

I think that's an improved version from somebody else based on the
original script.
