The long term goal is to replace mythtv-setup with a
web based setup (connecting to the backend).  That
work was not sufficiently ready for inclusion in 0.25.

It is my opinion that any significant (developer) work
in the setup area should focus on where MythTV is
going, and accept some rough edges exist (and will
continue to exist as stopgaps) until the new codes
are in place.
