[mythtv-users] LiveStream/mythtranscode problem

I updated to 0.25_pre20120223 on Gentoo to try out the new API and Live
Stream feature.  (Ultimately I want to get live streaming onto my iPad.)

I've run into a problem where mythtranscode exits immediately, leaving a
"avfw->Init() failed" message in the logfile.  I have ffmpeg-0.7.8, if that
matters.

Thanks for any help.
