[mythtv-users] Mythimport - Am I missing something?

My attempts at using mythimport on my mythbuntu 11.10 seems to be completely
fruitless. I have files extracted from Mythexport (mpg and sql files) in
/var/lib/mythtv/misc/.

If I run the following.

"mythimport input=/var/lib/mythtv/misc/ output=/var/lib/mythtv/recordings/
cleanup=all"

I get a response stating "Make sure that /var/lib/mythtv/recordings/ is in
your MythTV storage groups, otherwise MythTV will not be able to find your
files." No errors indicated. However, no data makes it into the database,
the media file never makes it to /recordings and the source files remain.

If I run this variation "Mythimport input=/var/lib/mythtv/misc/
output=/var/lib/mythtv/recordings/ cleanup=sql". I get similar results. No
data imported, no media file in /recordings but the SQL file was deleted!
(progress!)

I can purposely change permissions on the destination or provide an invalid
input or output path and get appropriate errors. I just can't get the media
file to move or get the data into SQL.

I looked at the script and found that there is an error handler of "ERROR:
MySQL command failed.". But I don't even get that when running the command.
So the script doesn't detect that the SQL import failed.

Is there any way to run mythimport in a way that will provide verbose
logging?

Anyone else successfully running mythexport/mythimport?

Thanks in advance!

~Christian
