A 210 will do ATSC 1080i just fine using either the VDPAU or standard decoder with the VDPAU renderer and the Temporal,2x deinterlacer with the composite extension set. It also supports multichannel LPCM audio over HDMI.

A 220 or 240 supports all of the above plus the Advanced,2x deinterlacer. According to reliable reports on this mailing list, unless you watch recorded 1080i basketball games, you may not be able to see a difference between Temporal,2x and Advanced,2x deinterlacing.

A 520 supports everything a 210 does plus advanced HD audio bitstreaming. Google for the full list of supported codecs.

A 430 supports everything a 520 does plus, for most people, it supports Advanced,2x deinterlacing. However, it does not have much headroom in that application so if your configuration is less than optimal in any respect, you could experience stuttering.
