Really? I never saw any mention of it on the development mailinglist, 
where I would expect at least a mention, nor a note in the commits 
(https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commits/master), which would also seem 
a logical place to me.

The commit the wiki page is referencing to 
(http://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commit/20f2c45cbf) seems not the proper 
one too me.
