I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me with this issue.

I have been out of town for the last 8 days and recorded close to 75 
shows.  All shows were recorded correctly.

Increasing the sleep between the select and the digits seems to have 
made the most difference.  I will add a link from the DishNetwork wiki 
page to my script updates.
