[mythtv-users] Problem configuring analog side of hvr 1600

I have an HVR 1600, and a HVR 2250.

Both have been working fine in my myth system for quite some time.

I haven't used the analog side of the HVR 1600 in about a year, and
during that year, I've upgraded to the latest myth.

Now I'm trying to configure the Analog side again, but I can't get it
to find any channels via a scan.

The 2 ATSC tuners from the 2250 are configured and working fine, as is
the 1 ATSC tuner from the HVR 1600. All 3 of those are grouped under
an input named "Digital".

Everything in dmesg looks ok for the 1600:

dmesg |grep cx18

It says that the MPEG encoder is registered to video0.

Following these instructions, I'm able to manually tune channels and
they work fine:
http://www.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2010-June/290232.html

I've configured it in Myth as an "MPEG-2 encoder card", and set the
device to /dev/video0. The probe info is correct.

I don't know what to set the VBI line to - it doesn't make sense for
Myth to be asking the question. vb0, vb1, and vb2 are all for ATSC
tuners, not MPEG tuners. But I've tried setting it to all 3 of those,
and also blank.

When I go to channel scan, it just flies through the channels (very
fast, too fast, really) and then tells me that there are no channels.

What am I missing / doing wrong?

Thanks,

Dan
