I should have mentioned - that's the set up that I previously had.  It 
worked pretty well and means I can get program information further into 
the future, but it doesn't pick up last minute changes to the schedule.

Having had a few recordings suffer because of schedule changes, I'm keen 
to make EIT work.

As far as I can see the +1 channels work fine under either system - 
within a given source, same program seems to get the same program ID.
