Schedules Direct has issued a number of versions of such scripts,
and they seem to work reasonably. However, the anecdotal
evidence seems to suggest that (only a) few people in (only a)
few areas are actually running it (regularly). Without a critical
mass of "contributors", there is minimal value (unless you happen
to live in one of those few areas).
Perhaps Schedules Direct (at renewal time) should encourage
others to run their script (for the good of the "masses"). To
be honest, renewal time is one of the few times I tend to
pay attention to the Schedules Direct web site, so I am thinking
that is the time to attempt to "get people involved".
