[mythtv-users] Time to get a SSD?

I was shocked when I put everything except my media partition on an SSD 
and didn't notice any difference.  Well, the only difference that I 
noticed was that playback now has an extra five-second lag while the 
drive spins up.  I expect this means that we're using less power and 
it's running cooler, but I had expected things to be a little snappier.

I do expect that this means the root partition will be more reliable.
