[mythtv-users] mac mini remote: Living with 6 buttons

I have a mac mini I am using as a mythtv-frontend with the remote that came
with it.  The remote only has 6 buttons: Left,Right,Up,Down,P,M.  So how
should I configure it so that it has the most functionality.  I am using
lirc. Currently I have it configure like the following:

1. Up - Up
2. Down - Down
3. Right - Right
4. Left - Esc
5. M - Menu
6. P - Enter

I used the left button as the Esc Key, losing the ability for a left cursor
key. Wondering if anyone did anything more creative.

Also is there an easy way for me to specify the LONG PRESS versus a normal
tap?  That would give me at least 6 more buttons.
