Hi,

I'm posting this here because I don't want to risk getting other users' tickets locked.

The only dvb-t transport in my area changed frequency recently, and since then I lost EIT. Then I came across ticket #9592 and I'd like to thank McBlau at ... for his patch.

I converted it for my net ID and I've got EIT back.

There is a slightly slight propability that the technicians of our national tv will correctl the stream to show that EIT is present but in the remotely remote chance they don't is there another way for mythtv to correctly determine if EIT is present for a provider?

I used dvbsnoop to confirm that the EIT data was present prior to patching mythtv. Can't mythtv similarly probe the stream for EIT data instead of relying on a flag?

Please don't ask for a patch ;-)

Best regards,

Yianni.
