Mike,
thanks for the response. Unfortunately I dont have enough CPU power to
decode MPEG2 w/o VDPAU.
I did some more playing around with the cable line and location of my
wireless router and was able to get a little bit signal gain. For examle
right now im at:
SS: 100%
SigQ: 91%
SymQ: 100
OOB: SS 64%, SQ, 100%
I cant get Signal Quality up to 100%. I still get slight jitters. When I
play in Windows on my Windows Laptop it plays fine. Im guessing its VDPAU
related but cant fix it.
My settings:
Decoder: VDPAU Accel
CPU 1
Deblocking Checked
Renderer: vdpau, OSD:vdpau
Prim De-Int: Bob2x
Filters: vdpauskipchroma, vdpaustudio, vdpaucolorspace
I am using the following Nvidia Card:
mitchell at mythfe:cat /var/log/mythtv$ cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86 Kernel Module 270.41.06 Mon Apr 18 14:54:25
PDT 2011
GCC version: gcc version 4.5.2 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu4)
mitchell at mythfe:cat /var/log/mythtv$ cat
/proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/0/information
Model: GeForce 8400 GS
IRQ: 18
Video BIOS: 62.98.12.00.00
Card Type: PCI-E
DMA Size: 40 bits
DMA Mask: 0xffffffffff
Bus Location: 0000:02.00.0
I am going to try and upgrade my install to latest as I am pretty far
behind on updates.
Any other pointers?
Thanks,
Mitchell
