Thanks.  What Playback Profile Group do you have selected at 
mythfrontend settings in Utilities/Setup|Setup|TV Settings|Playback, 3rd 
screen?  You don't want any of CPU+, CPU++, or CPU--, but I'm going to 
guess it's set to CPU+.  You should either use Slim or one of the VDPAU 
ones if you have a card and that supports VDPAU (start with VDPAU Slim 
when testing).  Do you have issues with one of those selected?
